Corona measures 2.0: KiKxxl tightens corona measures

After we were able to master the first lockdown largely unscathed, the second COVID19 infection wave began in September/October and the next lockdown followed. To protect our employees as well as possible in the future, we have adapted our hygiene concept and our KiKxxl Corona Code. At the same time, we have expanded our home office options and are constantly working to optimize them.

The spatial as well as temporal separation (shift work) of individual teams was a measure that we already implemented at the beginning of the first Corona wave last year and have continuously expanded since then. The installation of “protection boxes” and notices on various roll-ups, posters and floor stickers are further supporting means for this. In addition, home office workplaces have been added, and almost 500 colleagues can now work from home!

In the course of the new occupational health and safety regulations, we have tightened our mask obligation and insist on the wearing of medical masks (surgical masks or masks of the KN95/N95 or FFP2 standards) throughout KiKxxl. Of course, we provide each employee with a surgical mask every day.

Disinfection and hygiene continue to be a top priority at KiKxxl. Workplaces are regularly disinfected and there are hourly cleaning intervals for all “typical” contact points such as door handles, light switches, etc. All previously communicated hygiene regulations still apply and meticulous compliance with them is ensured. Just recently, we received visits from the health authorities and district governments at all locations and were praised for the excellent implementation of and compliance with hygiene measures.

With our KiKxxl app and regular video messages from the managing directors Andreas Kremer and Erden Yildirim, the colleagues are kept up to date on a daily basis. If there are further measures ordered by the German government in the future, these will also be communicated immediately to all KiKxx employees and implemented throughout the company so that we can overcome the pandemic as quickly as possible.
