For us, sustainability is more than just a promise

At KIKXXL, sustainability is not just lip service, but part of our daily activities. Our sustainability performance has been confirmed by the latest Ecovadis rating, in which we were assessed in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, and were able to position ourselves in the upper midfield of all companies rated by Ecovadis. This is a result we are proud of, especially as a service provider in the communications industry. It shows that we are systematically working towards measurable sustainability goals and attach importance to transparent reporting. As an owner-managed communications service provider, we are guided by independent assessments by Ecovadis, a globally recognized platform that scrutinizes companies in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

We are achieving good results in environmental protection. We have set ourselves specific, measurable targets for energy consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and waste management, and are working consistently to achieve them. We are continuously optimizing our lighting systems at all our locations and recording CO₂ emissions along the entire value chain. From 2026, we will also be using only green electricity, not only at our locations but also in our data centers.

“For us, sustainability means getting a little better every day, not just in big strategy papers, but above all in the small, concrete decisions we make every day,” explains Andreas Kremer, founder and managing director of KIKXXL GmbH. “Our employees actively contribute to this, from the conscious use of resources to the selection of our partners.”

For us, sustainability does not stop at our own company gates. With a CSR code of conduct for all suppliers, we have established binding social and environmental criteria. “We regularly assess our key partners according to sustainability standards and provide ongoing training for our purchasing team,” adds Christian Fritsch, Head of Quality and Sustainability Management. “Even though the EU is currently weakening supply chain and environmental laws, we are sticking to our standards. That’s important to us.”
